The Oldtimer-Gallery took place at Crocus Expo from 15 till 18th of September – the unique and the biggest show of the retro cars, antiques and passed long ago times style in the Eastern Europe.

The Oldimer-Gallery presented more than 200 legendary cars in one hall!
Inimitable masterpieces of XXI century technical culture, they won in the elegance competitions and in hardest races, they won all hearts and were inaccessible dreams of entire generations, they went through oblivion years and changed their owners. Nowadays they are famous again – and in this time in the world of collectors and antiquity amateurs.

For the first time on the Oldtimer-Gallery there was the half of the exhibition pavilion filled with the bright creative expositions of the automobile history amateurs from different cities of Russia. In Saturday the club meadow filled up with the atmosphere of legendary rock-festivals of 1960 years. The famous clubs’ flags, cult old-timers emblems and favorite songs notes swirled in this rock-and-roll rhythm! The first accords of freedom, clash, pipes and trinkets! Make love not war! The summer is going on!

For the first time on the Oldtimer-Gallery there was presented the separate subject exposition “They constructed the Car. Underground of the Soviet car industry": about 50 hand-made cars constructed by the enthusiasts in a period of 1960-1991 years – fantastic and extravagant, incredible and curious efforts of ingenious creative people to rise over the reality uniformity by means of technical headpiece and design talent. Laura, YNA, Pangolina – the names of these futuristic cars rang all over the country at one time, nowadays the opportunity to see these cars was unique – the cars in such representative composition haven’t presented since the USSR times.

The main event of the Oldtimer-Gallery was the celebration of three greatest jubilees of the World motor industry - 125 years of the first car invention, 125 years since the BOSCH Company foundation and 115 years of the first Russian car invention. On this occasion there will be demonstrated Benz Patent-Motorwagen Nr.1 – three-wheeled car patented by Karl Benz in 1886 year - specially moved from Germany on the Mercedes-Benz Company stand. Next to the very first car there was presented the very new Mercedes – the long-expected Russian premiere of the new coupe CLS took place on the Oldtimer-Gallery. The first native “mechanical vehicle” constructed by Yakovlev-Freze could be seen nearby on the stand of the “AutoReview” newspaper museum. Specialists of the museum fully reconstructed this vehicle. On the jubilee stand of the BOSCH Company visitors had inimitable opportunity to learn the huge contribution of the company to car industry progress by the example of unique and never been shown before in Russia exhibits. The car could not become the vehicle without BOSCH component parts

The Oldtimer-Gallery special subject was the legendary “Orient Express” in Russia! The first Orient Express started out 125 years ago. It attracted a lot of celebrities by its remarkably rich decoration: elegant furniture, expensive dishware, unique fabrics. One could not imagine the trip being more luxurious than in this fantastic train. This train onetime made trips across Russia as well. At present it came across the visitors in the unique models and rare documents. The historical context is consisted from the privet collections’ items: railway posters, manufacturing plant nameplates, dash-lamps, printed materials having been used in the interior of railway stations of the day.

The Oldtimer-Gallery was a place where it is possible to spent family weekend with pleasure and usage. The organizers prepared a lot of interesting things for visitors of any gender and age. Antiquarian boutiques and break-downs offered a rich choice of art objects and collectors’ items, vintage clothes and accessories. One could find a lot of nice antiquities on a nostalgic “flea market”.

The Oldtimer-Gallery was a fabulous mix of historic style, music and flavours. It was the Classic from all its sides - the luxurious cars and extremely beautiful girls.
